Combining motorcycle and car tours can be an especially enjoyable experience.
Day 1: Ha Giang- Heaven Gate- Twin mountain – Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Vuong palace – Dong Van ( by Motorbike )
We will be driving 150 km and walking for about an hour today. During the trip, you will have the opportunity to see the lifestyle of the Mong people and interact with them. We will take breaks at various scenic spots on the way, where you can take pictures or enjoy the beautiful landscape.
The Heaven’s Gate, which stands at 1500m high, offers a breathtaking view above the clouds. You can also see the renowned twin mountains in Quan Ba. Later, we will stop for lunch at a small restaurant in Yen Minh.
After lunch, we will drive down to Ha Giang and visit the Vuong Palace, which the Mong people built for their king. We will stop 15 km west of Dong Van to visit the palace.
Our final destination for the day is Dong Van, which we should reach by 5 pm. You will be staying in a hotel and having dinner there. Dong Van is a peaceful village, where you can stroll around and explore the small market in the old quarter.
Day 2: Dong Van -Chinese border- flag tower – Ma Pi Leng pass- Meo Vac. ( by Motorbike )
After breakfast, we are planning to visit the Flag Tower and the Chinese border. Today, we will be driving through the Dong Van Geopark, which offers stunning views and is home to some of the best mountain passes in Vietnam. The Ma Pi Leng Pass is considered the “king” of these passes, and from its peak begins the 20 km long Happiness Road. It is a hand-made road built by the local people and has a romantic atmosphere. Meo Vac is also a must-visit destination on this trip, offering some of the most beautiful landscapes in the country. At around 5 pm, we will arrive in the town of Meo Vac and stay there for the night.
Day 3: Meo Vac – Bao Lac – Cao Bang – Ban Gioc ( Combine Motorbike and Car )
Today we will drive about 180 km from Meo Vac to Cao Bang. Explore the breathtaking landscapes of Ha Giang, where these ethnic communities have thrived for generations. From the majestic rice terraces to the towering limestone mountains, every corner of this region tells a story of resilience and harmony with nature. We ride our motorbike from Meo Vac to Ly Bon commune, then catch up us with the car and go directly to Ban Gioc. We will stay in a Local homestay in Ban Gioc.
Day 4: Ban Gioc Waterfall – Ba Be ( by Car )
We spend this morning in Ban Gioc waterfall. Which is one of the best waterfalls in Vietnam ( Ban Gioc waterfall) The waterfall has a height of 53m, divided into 3 floors, considered the most beautiful waterfall in Vietnam and the largest waterfall in Southeast Asia. Taking a trip back to Cao Bang and then proceeding to visit Ba Be National Park.
Day 5: Babe – Boat trip – Ha Noi ( by Car )
Tomorrow morning, we will get a chance to explore the stunning Ba Be Lake on a boat. This natural wonder is the largest lake in Vietnam and is surrounded by local minority villages and the lush jungle of Ba Be National Park. Follow our tour guide to the Pac Ngoi boat station, where we will board the boat and embark on a sightseeing tour around Ba Be Lake. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to take pictures of the picturesque scenery and create everlasting memories. We end the tour around 3pm and heading direct to Hanoi.
